Shirt series concept idea…What do you think?

Here’s a few Shakespearean insults that I thought might translate well to t-shirts. With the right font (something old English looking), I think it would look pretty sharp. Would you buy something like this if you saw it on a shirt? Which ones do you think will work best? I could use your opinion.

Thou whoreson impudent embossed rascal!
-Taken from: Henry IV, part I

Your bedded hair, like life in excrements, start up and stand on end.
-Taken from: Hamlet

Peace, good pintpot, peace, good tickle-brain.
-Taken from: Henry IV, part I

False face must hide what the false heart doth know.
-Taken from: Macbeth

Thou puny tardy-gaited wagtail!

Thou cockered hasty-witted scut!

Thou ruttish beetle-headed nut-hook!

Thou rump-fed ronyon!
Taken from: Macbeth

Methink’st thou art a general offense and every man should beat thee.
Taken from: All’s Well That Ends Well

Thou slander of thy heavy mother’s womb!
Taken from: Richard III

Thou jarring dismal-dreaming ratsbane!

Thou spleeny brazen-faced coxcomb!

Show your sheep-biting face, and be hanged an hour!
Taken from: Measure for Measure

Thou loathed issue of thy father’s loins!
Taken from: Richard III

Thou subtle, perjur’d, false, disloyal man!
Taken from: The Two Gentlemen of Verona

  1. I think there is a market for them, lets just hope nobody sees these ideas and makes the shirts before you do.
